This past Saturday Project Level San Francisco and 1015 digital hosted Breakfast Club Live with Angela Yee. Where Kayla (OfficialKaymezo) sat down with Angela to discuss her start in the industry, how’s it feel to be a leading lady in a male dominated industry, different ventures she has her hands in, as well as a few of her favorite moments and guests on The Breakfast Club. I had been anticipating So Aquarius since the day it was announced back in December. There was no doubt I was going it was the ultimate R&B lovers lineup infused with Hip-Hop. This line up literally gave you every type of R&B dipping sauce you could possibly need from Neo-Soul (Erykah Badu), New Age (The Internet & Jhene Aiko), 90’s (R.Kelly, Mya, Monica, and Brandy), as well as Pretty Ricky and just nods to artist that influenced an era in music (90’s/00’s).
Earlier this month, I was super excited to announce my first event as a Brand Ambassador for The Link Up SF. The event has sadly come and gone, but luckily it has left behind some amazing lessons and memories to take with me. I’m so thrilled to be joining an amazing sisterhood and girl gang filled with women truly on the move, and the event was a genuine reflection of that.
